Kick-off Pics!

Here are a few pics from the Kick-Off Stamp party. We had such fun! Thanks, ladies, for coming to the party. I hope you enjoyed and will get some great opportunities to share your hand made cards with others.
I love giving my boys' teachers Thank You cards at the beginning of each school year. Lets face it, being a teacher is not an easy job. So, if I can give the boy's teachers a little boost, then I'm always up for it! :) Sooooo....
My next event will be on July 23rd, Thursday, and it will be a Stamp-A-Stack class. We will be making 10 Thank You cards for $15. We will be making 5 each of 2 designs. Each participant will get a free clear plastic box to put their cards in to keep or to give away as a gift. I will have space for 10 ladies so call now to hold your spot.
Enjoy this lovely Father's Day weekend....hugs and big thanks to all our dads.

Cupcakes! I LOVE Cupcakes!

I just finished making this boxed set of 8 cards tonight to put in my craft booth at the Fishers Freedom Festival. I love the ribbon I found at Hobby Lobby. SU!'s In Color Pink Pirouette perfectly matched the pink of the cupcakes on the ribbon. The clear boxes come from Papertrey Ink and the cupcake stamps are from Inkspirations. The sentiments inside says "Have your cupcake and eat it too. Happy Birthday!"
You can pre-order this box of cards now for $20 (8 cards), but they will not be available until sometime in July.

SU Kick-Off Event!

Hi Everyone! My first SU event is this next week..My Kick-Off Party. Our theme is Birthday Cards and we are making 3 cards. Two I can show you, but the 3rd we are making using a new set out of the new catty that premiers July 1st. I'm so excited about the new items......sooooo neato. I know you all will be thrilled.

This set, Choo-Choo, is from the Occasions Mini Catalog. People have until June 30th to order...isn't this train simply adorable? My mom brought her set down a few weeks ago and my oldest, age 8, had so much fun playing with it. So, when Mr. Brown came delivering my box this week, he was so excited to see that Choo-Choo was inside!

My inspiration for this card came from a gal on Splitcoaststampers. Here is the link to her card.

Thoughts and Prayers is what I used for this card. Now, I know it says "Sharing in your Sorrow" and there is good reason for that...you know the old saying..Once a Dork, Always a Dork or something to that effect. I meant to stamp Birthday Wishes on it and just pulled out the sentiments that came with the lovely flower from Thoughts and Prayers......ack...DORK! So, the ones we will be making at the Kick-Off Event will have a birthday greeting in the corner.

Hope you all enjoy and I'm so excited to make these cards with the gals that will be attending the event. There will be lost of freebies and fun stuffs, too....and yummy treats...can't forget the treats!!!

I'm A Stampin Up! Demo!!!

Well, it's taken me about a week to get here and post this but I just got my new scrapbookin' demo kit from SU earlier this week. I'm so thrilled now...it's all official...I'M A STAMPIN UP! DEMO. Visit my Stampin' Up! website by clicking on the catalog picture over to the right. 24 hour shopping with fun ideas. You can also view the entire catalog online at that site.

So, get your fingers ready...I've got a big kick off event planned for June (dates pending) but it should be a really fun event. Our theme will be Birthday Bash. People who attend will make 3 Birthday cards with coordinating envelopes...one card for a female, one for a male and one for a child. Cost will be just $5 for the supplies for the 3 cards and lots and lots of ink, food, fun and fellowship. Can't buy 3 cutsie cards at Hallmark for a mere $5! :)

I'll post details as soon as I get the date coordinated.

Tile Happy!!!!!!!!

Boy, have I been having fun with these tile coasters. They are so cute and such an easy, fast gift to make. I made the set with the names on them for the boys' teachers this year, and the other sets for the Freedom Festival booth. I know I will be adding these cute little coasters into my normal line-up of items one can order from Hartley Handcrafted. I've already sold 5 sets! YIPPY! Again, these come in sets of 4 for $10 per set.

Freedom Festival Sneak Peek #2

Hey all,

Well, I've been having fun making Tumbled Tile Coasters. Here are a few that I have made up already but am working on a few more sets. If you'd like to place an order for these, they are $10 for a set of 4 coasters bundled up with a ribbon. There are felt dots on the bottom so they wont scratch up furniture or wood. I have a set of these that a friend made me a few years back and they are the ONLY coasters we use!

You can also see many more sets at the Freedom Festival this summer!

Freedom Festival Sneak Preview #1

Well, I'm knee deep in fun stuff for the Fishers Freedom Festival this summer. I'm having a 2 day booth in the arts and crafts section and I'm so excited. Here is one of the items I'm making for the booth. It's a lunchbox altered tin with 8 cards inside (2 each of the 4 shown). I've had military families on my mind lately and thought this would be a fantastic gift for a military wife. The cards can be sent to her loved one (s) who are overseas or out of state fighting for our Freedom. Quite appropriate for the Freedom Festival, don't ya think? :)

This tin and 8 cards retails for $30. Stop by the Fishers Freedom Festival and say howdy. Here are the details:
