Stationary Set

This stationary set is a gift for a sweet young lady from our church who graduated from High School this year. She is going off to college and I hope this will encourage her to write home! ;) The paper is SU's Chocolate Chip and the stamp set is Elements of Style that you can find on pages 11 and 12 in the Summer Mini. I just got this set last week and love, love, love it. It's a very elegant set. The monogram and letters for her name is from the Just Rite monogram stamper. I used SU's Scalloped Punch for the note cards and I believe the Giga scalloped punch for the stationary folder and sheets of stationary.

If you'd like to order the items to make similar items, you can contact me directly or click on my catalogs over to the right of this post. You may also order personalized monogram sets already made for your special person. The box of note cards sell for $20 (set of 8 cards) and the stationary folder w/ 5 sheets of stationary for $10.

Another Mother's Day card.....

I just can't get enough of Watercolor Trio!!! I just love this set. Here is another card I made for a special Mother! It was a simply easy card with a beautiful look. I used Certain Celery, Perfect Plum and Pretty in Pink ink. And, Certain Celery cardstock was used for the scalloped circle punch (SU's scalloped circle punch). The sentiments are from a set from Clear Dollar Stamps. I don't have the name of the set on my case so can't pass that along.
Happy Mother's Day to all you special mother's out there!

To Our Wonderful Mothers!

Happy Mother's Day to our wonderful mothers! I think I have the best mom in the word! If you know her, you will know why I think that! :) Mama, if you are reading this..I love you!!!

Over the last few days I made several Mother's Day cards to send out and to put in my card stash to sell. Here are a few:
If you have not seen the new set in the Summer Mini Catalog called Watercolor Trio..check it out. It's becoming my new favorite floral set. It's on page 16. I used Sage Shadow card stock and the designer paper is some I had in my stash that matched perfectly. I also used Ruby Red to pick up the red color in the designer paper. The sentiments lightly stamped on the DP are from a set that I've had for a while from Clear Dollar Stamps, I believe. I can't find the set name on my case so can't pass that along.
Below are the other details:
Card stock-Sage Shadow, Really Red
Ink-Sage Shadow, Versa Mark
Pastels-for the Poppin' Pastels flower from the set Watercolor Trio,
Punches-SU scalloped edge punch, giga scalloped punches
Primas and pearls from my local craft store.

I love this new preview stamp set that will be in our new Idea Book and Catalog that is coming out this summer. It's called Awash With Flowers. Now, I'll admit, I'm not a big fan of Two-Step Stampin' stamp sets. I don't think I'm coordinated enough or something but I am sort of getting the hang of it with this set after playing around with it for a while and I kind of like it! It's a fun whimsical floral set.

Details:

Card stock-Certainly Celery, Lavender Lace and Whisper White

Ink: Certainly Celery, Lavender Lace, Perfect Plum

Ribbon-Certainly Celery, and SU scalloped border punch

You can purchase the items to make these cards by clicking on the catalogs to the right. Or you can purchase them pre-made. Just let me know. They range in price from $2.50-$3.00.

May Brings forth Graduations!

Here are 2 cards I made today. I love personalizing cards and when I get a fun Graduation announcement in the mail that I can cut apart and recycle for a neat Grad card I'm all up for it!!! These turned out a little blurry and I'm not sure why. I took multiple pics of each and this was as good as I could get. I hope our camera is not biting the dust! Ugh!

I would be happy to make your personalized Grad cards if you wish. Just bring me the announcement or notice, picture, or mascot off the school website and we'll be in business! Cards range from $3.00-$4.00.
