Sweet Hummingbird Sympathy

Last night I went to my Stamp Club meeting and we made a flower pot pocket card.....this is not it! :) But, it did remind me that I haven't made any pocket cards for a long time. It seems I'm always short on Sympathy cards for families at our church, so I made up a batch of 6 of these today while the kids were napping. I LOVE the ribbon that I found at Hobby Lobby. It was my inspiration for the card as well as the pocket cards from last night's meeting. I have to give my super-duper-dynomite demo, Nicole Witzig, some happy pats on the back. She's the best!
The hummingbird comes from Clear Dollar Stamps, the swirls from The Angel Company, and the "I'm Praying for You" and the dots from Stampin Up. I almost ran out of room on the back of the card for all the Angel Policy stamps! LOL! Hope you enjoy!

Bathtime Bunny

I found this stamp this weekend at Hobby Lobby. I also have a friend who makes the most amazing and delicious bath salts. I've gotten into the knack of putting a little baggie of bath salts in a few b-day, etc, cards so my recipient can have a nice soothing bath with some lovely salts. So, here is my latest creation. This bunny looks how I feel most days at the end of the day, and what a LOVELY DAY it is when you can relax in the tub and soak in the quietness and only hear bubbles popping and the swishing of the water. Ahhhhhhh, might have to take a bath tonight myself.

Oh, rats, you can see the little baggie in the cut out oval window. Oh, well, you know there is REALLY a bag of salts in there now! :)

Hope you all have a wonderful and LOVELY DAY!!!

A Few Simple Cards

I've been working on a few simple cards this week. He's what I've come up with.

Here's a simple Thank You. I love the colors of this one. Rose Red and Old Olive from Stampin Up! The image is also from SU from the set Art of Life.

This is a Birthday Card using the set Life from Paper Trey Ink.

And another fun Birthday card for a child or adult. The fish set comes from The Angel Company. I used my spectrum fall color ink pad to give the fish some variation in color. Then stamped the background with the ocean stamps. I ran it through my cuttle bug folder to make it look like ocean bubbles. The Birthday Wishes comes from a SU set. I wanted the 'wishes' to say 'fishes' so I punched out an "f" from a mini alpha set from Mike's and glued it over the 'w'.

Heidi Motz is The WINNER!!

Heidi Motz is the Easter Open House Raffle Winner! Congrats, Heidi. This is quite fitting actually because Heidi was my first Hartley Handcrafted customer. She had me make her darling daughters 1st year scrapbook last year. She's been such a great encourager for me in this adventure, as many of you have, so I hope she will enjoy this little perk over Easter Weekend.

Thanks, Heidi!

I also got word today that I have been selected to have a 2 day Arts and Crafts booth at the Fishers Freedom Festival this summer here in our hometown. The dates are Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th...I hope you all will stop by and say HOWDY! www.fishersfreedomfestival.org

Wedding Centerpieces!

Here are a few photos from the wedding this past weekend. I made the centerpieces for the tables. They look so pretty with the flowers, etc. The Bride wanted photos of herself and the Groom on each side...so she has two sides and he has two sides. The flowers she chose were perfect for softening the edges and bottom of the centerpieces. You can find the template and instructions here for the lanterns.

Stationary Folders

I made these stationary folders this week and am thrilled with how they turned out. The two with the monograms are for a client and the butterfly one is for me to look at until someone wants it. These retail for $18 each and come with 5 sheet of stationary and 5 coordinating envelopes. I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking...and ordering! :)
