Stationary Box

This is my first attempt at a Stationary Box. You can find the directions at www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/stationerybox/ I'll admit, it as easier than I thought to put together and the video tutorials on SCS really helped. I need to see something before I get it in my head. LOL! Anyway, I made this for a raffle auction fundraiser for a Craft Bazaar that I'm participating in on November 19th and 20th from 5-9 on Friday and 9-3 on Saturday. It will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church/School on 191st Street and SR 37 in Noblesville. Hope you can stop by.
This is the box all folded up with everything inside.

Take the lid off and this is what folds out and is inside.

There are 4 of the regular sized cards, 4 of the mini 3x3 cards and 4 Thank You tags.

The part of the box that folds out contains a small address book and a pocket that contains 8 stamps. The little roll at the bottom is for a pen but the only pen I had that fit was bright blue. I think I need a different, more neutral colored pen. Bright blue just doesn't cut it!

This is a more close up view of the cards the box contains.
I will say that I think this turned out great and it was very fun to make...but, boy, did it take a long time to create. Maybe because it was my first box..it just seemed like it took forever and maybe will get easier each time I make them. I would love to make a Christmas box so that may be next.
I used most all Stampin' Up! products. The designer paper is the Specialty paper out of the Mini Catalog....Autumn Spice. This dp is ultra thick and perfect for making a box. It's very sturdy. The stamp sets I used were Day of Gratitude, also out of the mini. And, Just Believe, out of the Big Idea Book and Catalog. Just Believe is located on page 109. I also used More Mustard and Early Espresso cardstock.
If you'd like to order one of these, please let me know. I'm not sure of the pricing yet...it did take forever to make! LOL! You can also order any of the Stampin' Up! items by clicking on the link over to the right of this post. The link there will take you to my 'store'.
Thanks for looking at my fun paper stuffs!!!

Beth, it looks great!! I do like that paper, too, and your little "friend" cards are too cute!! It makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one who took so long to get it done!!
