Wedding or graduation? Which will it be? I couldn't decide which to make for my class on Thursday night so I made both using the same pattern. We will be making one of these at class on Thursday at 7:00 PM. I still have some room if you'd like to attend. Or you may purchase the cards below for $2.50 apiece. All items are Stampin' Up! except for the tuille flower on the wedding card.

Next Class.... Thursday,February 9th.
Here are the samples of the 3 cards we will be making at my next Stamp Class. I had a request for wedding cards so we will be making 2 wedding cards and 1 Valentine's Day card.
This card (above) uses the new stamp set, Love and Laughter from the new Occasions Mini catalog. You can view this set by clicking on the Occasions Mini catalog over on the right side of my blog. I used Whisper White cardstock, black ink, and white vellum cardstock as the overlay. I stamped the dress image and sentiments on the whister white cardstock. Then, using the vellum, laid it over the top of the card giving it a soft subtle look. I also used Stampin Up's 5/8 inch white whisper white satin ribbon for the bow at the top of the card This card is so simple to make but gives an air of elegance that is just right for any bridal occasion.
The second card uses Concord Crush and Very Vanilla cardstock. The butterflies are cut out of Pink Pirouette cardstock and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die on page 216 of the Idea Book and Catalog. I used Elegant Lines (pg. 219) embossing folder to emboss the Very Vanilla Cardstock. Basic Pearls were added (page 198) on the butterflies.
This Valentine's Day card was so much fun to make. It's a Pop Up card (see next picture for inside). I used I {heart} Hearts set (pagae 46) on Whisper White and Ruby Red cardstock. I used Ruby Red, Regal Rose, Cherry Cobbler and Real Red ink for the hearts. The Lace Ribbon Border punch (pg. 211) was used to make the white border across the top of the card. I also used some scraps of designer paper to punch out a few min hearts using the minin heart punch on page 210.
I cut out several hearts from the I {heart} Hearts stamp set along with a large heart punchusing the Full Heart punch on page 210. The pop up secret will be taught during this class. The sentiments "with all my (heart)" come from the set With All My Heart, page 47.
This class is $5 and will be held on th 2nd Thursday of February. Reply to this post or send me a note if you'd like to attend.

Special Blessings!

I think this is one of my new favorite SU sets....Special Blessings. It's on page 50 of the SU catalog and comes with a cross, a dove and the words May God bless you......on your Special day...on your Wedding day...as you start your Married Life...on your First Communion...on your Baptism day. I made this for my Wedding stach.
I used Cameo Coral for the main image and used the Petals-a- Plenty SU embossing folder on Shimery White. It really sparkles IRL.

Wedding Centerpieces!

Here are a few photos from the wedding this past weekend. I made the centerpieces for the tables. They look so pretty with the flowers, etc. The Bride wanted photos of herself and the Groom on each side...so she has two sides and he has two sides. The flowers she chose were perfect for softening the edges and bottom of the centerpieces. You can find the template and instructions here for the lanterns.

Wedding Garden Set

Are you planning a Spring Wedding in the garden?? You might enjoy this set which includes an Invitation, a Thank You, Place Setting Card, and Table Treats. SU! Art of Life set was used to stamp the items as well as several Cuttlebug embossing folders, and a heart corner punch.
Black and Silver Wedding/Anniversary Party Set

I just completed my FIRST party ensemble! This could be used for a wedding. 50th anniversary or Over the Hill Birthday Party. I just got my Just Rite monogram stamper yesterday and am really excited about the possibilities of this little stamper. Check them out at http://www.justritestampers.com/ I think you will LOVE them!! The larger card is the invitation. I used the Divine Swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder on the background. I embossed the H with the monogram stamper and used my Marvy scalloped circle punches to punch it out and layer it on top of silver metallic card stock. The smaller card is a Thank You. I used the Thank You embossing words from Cuttlebug and it's embossed in the sliver circle. You can't see it in the photo so much here but if you click on the photo, it will enlarge for you.. I also used the Divine Swirl folder for the Thank you. The place setting is dry embossed with the Love Hearts cuttlebug mini folders.
Happy Friday Everyone!!

July 4th Wedding Samples

Tonight I went to get my hair cut. My stylist is getting married this next July 4th...she thinks. And wanted me to come up with a few samples for wedding invitations. So, here is what I took her. They are planning a smaller wedding, very casual and bar-b-que-ish. She said she really loved these and would keep it in mind. The stamp with the boy and girl is from http://www.treehousestamps.com/ They have some very cute things there. The other set is a SU! set. The bottom card is a one sided Thank You that could be used for responding to gifts.
