Octobooooer Already???

It has been forever since I have posted here. Summer was busy, then the beginning of school, ......and here we are into October. Time flies by! This little spook-able is flying by to tell you "trick or treat!". We will be making this card at my monthly class this week. All items are Stampin' Up! items except the ribbon which I found at a local craft store. I couldn't resist not designing a card around the adorable ribbon. The class is $5 and we will be making at least two cards and one treat item for Halloween!! Inbox me if you would like more details about my classes.

Fun Times! Fun Neighbors! Fun Cards!

We are so very fortunate to live on our street. The wife of our neighbors to our left is from Japan.  She is an angel. She watched out kids before and after school for a few years when I first started teaching school.  Now, this spring, we got some new neighbors on the other side. Guess from where?? Japan!!  This is Yumi and her daughter on the left.  Our neighbor to the left of us had to work on this day but her girls came to my class.  They are Elika and Yumi.  Their mum, Yoshimi, did join us later. But, I was so thrilled to know our new neighbor on the right is a big stamper crafter card maker!!  She speaks little English but is learning.  Elika did lots of interpreting for me!  But, with crafters...all we need to do is point and show, smile and craft. 


I'm so thrilled to have a new neighbor, one that is from Japan (and how cool is it that my two neighbors are Japanese and can be great friends!!!), one that is a crafter and card maker.  And the food that comes out at our street get togethers is simply amazing!!!

Wedding or Graduation??? Which will it be??

Wedding or graduation? Which will it be? I couldn't decide which to make for my class on Thursday night so I made both using the same pattern. We will be making one of these at class on Thursday at 7:00 PM. I still have some room if you'd like to attend. Or you may purchase the cards below for $2.50 apiece. A little flower from a little rain!!!

Made this spring card at my stamp class tonight. I saw similar cards elsewhere using Stampin Up!'s bird punch to make the tulips. They are made with the wing section of the bird. The stems are made from the branch that's included on the bird punch. This is such a versatile card. It could be used for an Easter card, birthday, get well, sympathy even a wedding card. I hope you like it !

Pink Rules! Caring Counts!

Recently, an acquaintance of mine has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has been in my thoughts and prayers frequently over the last several weeks. While putting together a few items to send to her, I realized that I don't have very many breast cancer awareness type cards in my card stash. So I spent the night tonight making a few cards to send out and a few cards to put in my stash. I should've done this years back when I first started making cards. I hope this will encourage you to make breast cancer awareness type cards for your friends, family members and others and SEND THEM!! It's certainly will encourage those receiving them.

The paper I used is strictly from Stamping Up! The breast cancer ribbon punch is from EK Success. And the the vellum stickers are from Momenta.

Minion Madness

Made this fun Minion card for my nephews birthday! I'll post the directions sheet once I create it! Hope he likes it!! I used All Stampin' Up! Punches and papers!

Have A Heart

It's February!!!! It's cold!!! This will warm you up!! Have a Heart is one of the cards we will be making at our February class! This little card will warm the heart of anyone you give it to.

Snow! Snow! Snow! Bing Crosby style

I love snow!!! I love snow days!!! I know people are getting sick of it and we will probably be going to school till July 4th. But, I can't help it.....I love the 'free' days at the time. Been working on cards for my card class next week. ... I couldn't help but put this little guy together. Smile.....it's another snow day! Be happy! Do something fun like Go Build a Snowman! We will be making this card next Thursday at my card class. Classes are $5 for 3 cards. We start at 7:00 and usually wrap it up around 8:30-9. Come join us!! Inky Stampadoodles strikes again !!

Had a great afternoon conducting an Inky Stampadoodles birthday party for some awesome eight year olds! We embellished assignment notebooks and the girls did awesome!! I loved seeing how each notebook was similar to my example but they each used their own creativity. Great job, girls!!!
