Got a call today from a friend wanting a wedding gift. The bride to be likes things in neutral, likes wine and is getting married in a week or so. So, the majority of this gift is for her..but neutral enough that the groom to be will enjoy too. Also, the strip with the gold leaves is for the wine bottle. My client also mentioned that the groom does not like wine...but will drink a beer every now and then...so 6 smaller bottle labels are in the works for the 6 bottles of beer!

Red and Silver Christmas Cards!
I have a friend who wanted me to make some Christmas cards for her. Here colors are red and silver and this is what I came up with. I hope she likes the samples. She also wanted to order gift tags so one of the photos has some gift tag samples. Man, one of the photos is blurry. I think I need to hire a new photographer! LOL! If you double click on the picture, it should enlarge on your screen.
Thanks for looking! And Have a Great Weekend!

Snow! Snow! Snow!
I've been working on a raffle basket full of goodies for the boys school carnival silent auction coming up. Here are a few of the items to go inside it. I still have a few other things I want to add to it..but thought this was a fun start. Of coarse, I'll add a business card and a nice coupon for a % off the winner's next order.
Here's the few items grouped together.
Here is a stationary folder. I took a 12 x 12 piece of card stock and scored it 6 inches in. Then, turned it so the score line ran horizontal, then scored it 3 inches from the bottom. I folded on the score lines, clipped a V (upside down V) on the 3 inch fold, then folded that up to make a pocket. See the next photo.
Here's the inside. I ran my snowflake SU! wheel down the side of the stationary, used a snowflake from SU's Snowflake set, and ran the wheel on the flap of the envelopes.
I love how these turned out. I ran vellum card stock through my snowflake cuttlebug folder and it made the neatest designs on the front. I attached a white piece of cs on the inside and stamped a snowflake in the corner. Ribbon is from Michael's.
I had fun with my new SU! Scalloped punch with the edge of these cards. I had some snowflake vellum in my paper stash and ran that down the inside..you can see it peeking out on the right side. I scalloped the edges of that too so it was edged nicely when you open the card. The snowflake on the front is from a set of pre-made embellishments by Making Memories that I got at Michael's. The 8 cards are wrapped with the ribbons to make a nice packet.

Wedding Garden Set
Are you planning a Spring Wedding in the garden?? You might enjoy this set which includes an Invitation, a Thank You, Place Setting Card, and Table Treats. SU! Art of Life set was used to stamp the items as well as several Cuttlebug embossing folders, and a heart corner punch.
Black and Silver Wedding/Anniversary Party Set
I just completed my FIRST party ensemble! This could be used for a wedding. 50th anniversary or Over the Hill Birthday Party. I just got my Just Rite monogram stamper yesterday and am really excited about the possibilities of this little stamper. Check them out at http://www.justritestampers.com/ I think you will LOVE them!! The larger card is the invitation. I used the Divine Swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder on the background. I embossed the H with the monogram stamper and used my Marvy scalloped circle punches to punch it out and layer it on top of silver metallic card stock. The smaller card is a Thank You. I used the Thank You embossing words from Cuttlebug and it's embossed in the sliver circle. You can't see it in the photo so much here but if you click on the photo, it will enlarge for you.. I also used the Divine Swirl folder for the Thank you. The place setting is dry embossed with the Love Hearts cuttlebug mini folders.
Happy Friday Everyone!!

Remembering September
I'm always reminded, as is most everyone else, of September 11th, 2001 as soon as we roll out of August and into September. We have so much going on in our country now with the up and coming elections, the war on terror, and remembering September 11th. Here are a few patriotic cards I made to send to a few friends who have kids in the military. I printed off the USA flag from my clipart and adhered it behind the vellum tag. The bottom card was for a birthday for a friend in the military. I used the Cuttlebug birthday embossing folder for the background on the card.
