This is a fun stationary set that I made for a friend to give to another friend as a gift. The folder is made from a 12 x 12 sheet of designer cardstock and it holds 5 cards and 5 envelopes. I really had fun making this one...my friend said her friend is a carefree and whimsical type person so she wanted something really classy and fun. I hope they like it.

My Ribbon!!!!!
Well, I set out on an organizational adventure yesterday. I needed to tackle my ribbon. I had gotten a new big basket to keep all my spools in and a few smaller containers of ribbon. But.....I had all these scraps of ribbon that I didn't want to get rid of. As I was cleaning out my box I saw one stray piece of ribbon wrapped around a cardboard thingy. I must have gotten this piece of ribbon in a swap or as a RAK because it wasn't one that I did myself. So, upon looking closer, I saw it was a SU punch out that the person used to make the 'spool'. YIPPY.....I have this punch! And, I had some old scraps of coardboard so was able to make lots and lots of punched out spools for my scraggly stray pieces of ribbon. I'm so excited!!!!
Here's the MESS!
And here is the SU punch and all my little punchouts!!!!
Here's my small box of ribbon and all my organized new spools!!!
Ahhhhh, doesn't that look nice and neat??? Fits right under my new table that I got for my stamp area.
Now, can someone help me with my scrap box????? Ack!

Here's my new organzied (well, for now) area...see the ribbon box?? And see the wooden piece of 'art' on the wall?? My mom gave that to me a while back..I made it when I was a very young girl. I figured since it was one of my first pieces of 'art', I should honor it and hang it in my stamp area!!!
Here it is upclose. It's just felt pieces glued onto a piece of wood..cute, eh???
Now, can someone help me with my scrap box????? Ack!

My BOOTH!
I'm so excited. I had my first craft booth ever tonight! It was really fun and I made my booth money back in sales plus a little more! YIPPY! Now, the sales tomorrow will be gravy...that would be turkey gravy over dressing for sure!!! My neighbor friend helped me tonight and was such a super helper. She teaches at the school and was pulling people over to the booth. She's such a sales person! Tomorrow should be fun, too. My sis is helping me out. It wouldn't be near as much fun with out Elizabeth and Lisa to help me out! Thanks girls!!! Just thought I'd share a pic!

Edgewood High School Class of '83 Reunion
Wow, I'm feeling so old this weekend. I went back home for my 25th High School Graduation Reunion. It was great to hook up with old friends and I'm sure some of them I haven't seen in the 25 years since we left school. There were about 30 of us in attendance which was great but there were many that I would have loved to have seen that were not there. Below is a pic from the weekend as well as one from 1983!!!! If you double click on the pics, you can get a larger view.

Just Rite is Just Right!
Made this card with my Just Rite stamper. I love the mini letters that you can put on your stamp to say whatever you want to say. I think the personalization is JUST RIGHT! I used my Nestabilities to cut the rectangle in the card so I could put the pic in. I was wondering a few days ago it the nesties would work for this type of card. The hole is a bit small and it took me a while to find JUST the RIGHT picture....but it worked. It's an older pic of the boys...but is a great card to demo what this little Just Rite stamper can do.
Mind you, though, if you branch out and get this stamper...the letters are ITTY BITTY as in so itty bitty that you pretty much have to use tweezers to get them off the tray and onto the stamp. And, you might as well forget it if one goes flying willy nilly out of the tweezers.....you will likely NEVER find it. I've lost an A already. But, there are plenty in the set...which ist JUST RIGHT for this dork! :)

First Communion or Baptism Cards
Several of my friends are Catholic and encouraged me to make up a small set of First Communion invitations and cards. These could also be used for a baptism, too. Such a special time in a persons life when they make that commitment to Christ. I hope my cards will touch their lives and walk with the Lord in a special way.

Eeeeeekkkk! Happy Halloween!!!
I made these for my daycare kids and some of the kids in our Bible Study group. I hope they like them....I sure do. The spiders came off of someone on SCS...there is a Thin Mint between the two scalloped body circles. The pillows with the candy corn are made from a Sizzix diecut. My demo, Nicole Witzig, who is super talented, taught us to punch the window in the pillow and adhere acetate to the inside. Just adorable. Thanks, Nicole, for the super advice. I wouldn't be doing any of this if it were not for you!!! :)
Christmas Nugget Tin!
I love how this turned out. I think I can really get into these nugget tins! This is for a friend who needed a bus driver gift for Christmas.....Mmmmmm...Mmmmmm.... GOOD! Truth be told, I ate 3 of these nuggets as I was making this! These are going to make me fat if I keep making them. Hehehehe!

Rachael's Daycare!!
One of my cohorts in the daycare field wanted me to make some personalized cards for her to give to her daycare families for Christmas. Here is what I came up with. I used my Just Rite stamper and those darn itty bitty mini letters. They are great for this kind of personalization but, mannnnnnn, are they small. I really do think I need glasses! LOL! I had to practice with the stamp a few times to preview it in order to be sure that I had all the letters the right direction, etc.
Hope everyone has a Happy Monday...boy, the weeks are passing quickly these days and Thanksgiving will be here before we know it.

Another Order Off to Ft. Wayne!!!
My friend, Dawn, is the sweetest...she's keeping me busy and inky and sticky. This is what I did over the weekend......I was happy to be living in my stamp area all day yesterday after lunch.
Hope you like it, Dawn!!! :)
Oh, I should tell you about the Winter "All I have Seen" cards...(bottom right in the photo). Being a dork and all, first I had the idea of cranberry and white colors, so made the card that is on top. Then I though...Oh, well, maybe that doesn't look very winter-y...so made a snowflake one (it's underneath) so there are two different All I Have Seen cards..... :) Thanks, Dawn!!!! You are the Best!
Flower Stationary Folder!
Good Morning everyone and Happy Monday....or at least I'm trying to tell myself it's a Happy Monday...back to work!
I made this folder over the weekend for a friend. The cards will be forth coming...but I wanted to show off :) this folder. I love how it turned out. Got the ribbon at the $1 bin at Michael's...and it's perfect with this paper and the large prima flower behind the monogram.
Happy Monday Everyone!!!

My Latest Order!
I sent this order off last weekend to a customer in Ft. Wayne! She was thrilled with it!!!! She had seen my SCS gallery and picked out a few items. Fortunately, most of it I could recreate. The teacup on the stationary was in my gallery as a name tag for a Christmas Tea our church did last Christmas. My customer had seen it and said that teacup was just 'her'. So, I wanted to be sure to use one of those on her stationary packet. One of the SCS gals I'd met at a gathering in our area had the teacup set on the card she made for the swap gathering. I e-mailed her, she sent me the stamp set, and I made the name tags for the Christmas event......I had colored them in Christmas colors but, fortunately, the purples went right over the light greens and light rose colors! Perfect! I love SCS girls....they are so thoughtful and willing to help out another SCS stamper in a heartbeat!!!
Enjoy the weekend, everyone!

Ornament Cards!
My demo (Nicole Witzig) had us make an ornament card like these this past week at our monthly Stamp Club meeting.....I'd seen them on SCS but hadn't really taken the time to figure them out. I love how the silver tab punch is used for the top of the ornament...my demo is soooo smart! She rocks! :) On the green ornament card, the scallop is punched into the front of the card so you can see the tree on the inside.
The third card I made using the Martha Stewart branch punch. I love it! It just adds life to a card. I hope you enjoy them all...I certainly did and do!!!

Neutral Stationary Set
Got a call today from a friend wanting a wedding gift. The bride to be likes things in neutral, likes wine and is getting married in a week or so. So, the majority of this gift is for her..but neutral enough that the groom to be will enjoy too. Also, the strip with the gold leaves is for the wine bottle. My client also mentioned that the groom does not like wine...but will drink a beer every now and then...so 6 smaller bottle labels are in the works for the 6 bottles of beer!

Red and Silver Christmas Cards!
I have a friend who wanted me to make some Christmas cards for her. Here colors are red and silver and this is what I came up with. I hope she likes the samples. She also wanted to order gift tags so one of the photos has some gift tag samples. Man, one of the photos is blurry. I think I need to hire a new photographer! LOL! If you double click on the picture, it should enlarge on your screen.
Thanks for looking! And Have a Great Weekend!

Snow! Snow! Snow!
I've been working on a raffle basket full of goodies for the boys school carnival silent auction coming up. Here are a few of the items to go inside it. I still have a few other things I want to add to it..but thought this was a fun start. Of coarse, I'll add a business card and a nice coupon for a % off the winner's next order.
Here's the few items grouped together.
Here is a stationary folder. I took a 12 x 12 piece of card stock and scored it 6 inches in. Then, turned it so the score line ran horizontal, then scored it 3 inches from the bottom. I folded on the score lines, clipped a V (upside down V) on the 3 inch fold, then folded that up to make a pocket. See the next photo.
Here's the inside. I ran my snowflake SU! wheel down the side of the stationary, used a snowflake from SU's Snowflake set, and ran the wheel on the flap of the envelopes.
I love how these turned out. I ran vellum card stock through my snowflake cuttlebug folder and it made the neatest designs on the front. I attached a white piece of cs on the inside and stamped a snowflake in the corner. Ribbon is from Michael's.
I had fun with my new SU! Scalloped punch with the edge of these cards. I had some snowflake vellum in my paper stash and ran that down the inside..you can see it peeking out on the right side. I scalloped the edges of that too so it was edged nicely when you open the card. The snowflake on the front is from a set of pre-made embellishments by Making Memories that I got at Michael's. The 8 cards are wrapped with the ribbons to make a nice packet.
